Where's Jalap?

  1. Had surgery on my ankle about 6 weeks ago
  2. Got a promotion 4 weeks ago
  3. Spent a week in Canada 3 weeks ago
  4. Traveling for work this week

So, I am actually doing work and living a life . . . for now.  But, being that I am on here posting today, I am sure my addiction will be back in full swing.  "Ah, I've kicked the habit, one little snort won't hurt me."

So, mark this as the most insignificant blog in history, and the start of a full blown relapse.

By the way, how about the Brewers getting CC?

Where's Jalap?

Welcome back.

While you've been away, ShulessJoes photo caption contest has been taken over by Strictly Butta and Beeviliian winning most of the points.  Getting you back there would give them a run for their money.  I can hardly break-through anymore.

Congrats on the promotion (I hope that means more money!  lol) and I hope your ankle surgery and the rehab went well.

CC?  As an Indian's fan I feel let down by the Dolan brother owners.  When they signed Jake Westbrook and Travis Hafner last year, I thought that was a commitment to keep core players.  Obviously, they have a price limit, and the Indians could become a foreever young team with a lot of potential that never hits the big stage.  GM Mark Shipiro said the Indians would entertain re-signing CC as a free agent at the end of the season, but I don't believe it will happen because of the price tag.  For the Brewers, I don't really see them signing CC at $25M or so either.  So, it can only be a good trade for Milwaukee if it gets them into the playoffs this year.  Look for CC to land in NY, NY, or maybe Chicago or LA.  It's too bad the $200M payroll teams always seem to get these guys.
